Products Description

Custom precision 420 stainless steel stepped shaft flange composite parts

This is a stainless steel shaft flange composite part. The stepped shaft flange composite part consists of a bottom circular flange, a middle cylindrical transition section, and a top truncated cone with an inner hole. It is a typical structure that integrates load-bearing and positioning.

The flange has multiple bolt holes evenly distributed on it for rigid connection with other components; there are also positioning/weight reduction holes on the side. The design of the inner hole and keyway of the top cone indicates that it needs to mate with shaft-like parts to transmit torque and achieve centering. The surface has a metallic color and is precision machined, resulting in a high degree of smoothness and no obvious scratches, meeting the appearance requirements of precision parts.

    Machining process:

    Rough machining:

Using the high-rigidity spindle of the Mazak 5-axis machining center, the overall contour of the flange, cylindrical section and conical truncated cone is rough milled to quickly remove excess material.

    Precision Machining:

Beijing Jingdiao's high-speed and high-precision characteristics enable precise machining of internal holes, keyways, and flange holes, ensuring dimensional

tolerances within ±0.005mm and surface roughness below Ra0.8.Mazak's five-axis linkage function can complete multi-face machining in one clamping, reducing clamping errors

and improving dimensional and positional accuracy such as coaxiality and perpendicularity.

    Made of 420 stainless steel:

It has excellent rust resistance and toughness when used in humid or corrosive environments, making it suitable for precision tooling fixtures or medical device parts.

This part is primarily used in:

High-end automation equipment: as a connecting flange for servo motors or reducers, transmitting high torque and ensuring coaxiality.

Aerospace components: as a load-bearing structural component in drones and satellite equipment, combining lightweight design with high rigidity.
